About
Originally from San Diego, Julia moved to NYC after accepting NYU Steinhardt’s offer for the dual degree program. She is currently working toward an M.M in Vocal Performance (Music Theatre) and the Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy, where she is also teaching voice lessons as an adjunct instructor.
Although she misses the sunshine of San Diego, Julia thrives in the hustle and bustle of NYC, and has been featured in cabarets at Green Room 42 and the Triad Theater. Her high energy and excitement for life makes her fun to work with, both on stage and backstage. She has a passion for teaching and is obsessed with sharing her knowledge while learning more about the voice.
The next stop on her journey is “Celebrating the Genius of Alan Menken” where she will be performing as Jasmine alongside Alan Menken and Broadway Orchestra(dirr. Ted Sperling). During spare time, Julia enjoys trying new foods, forcing her friends to go out dancing with her, snapping photos to keep the memories, and asking the universe why she has never been a contestant on the Bachelor.
